I wanted to love this book as it was recommended by a friend but this book was just a series of cliches. Filled with practical activities, exercises and visual prompts for you to practise meaningful mindfulness, this fully illustrated, interactive journal w ill help you become the best version of yourself.Filled with exercises, activities, and visual prompts, this journal will help you understand and regulate your emotions, build and maintain routines and habits that work for you, track personal growth and carve out time to practise self-love and gratitude.

This sounds nice on paper however when you really think about the message conveyed the advice quickly falls apart. Not sure why I completed this book, probably because I was hoping that there will be something great in the following pages. I found this book from scrolling through my list of recommendations on goodreads and triggered by the synopsis. I would suggest you to read this book at a slow pace so that you can introspect and think through the solutions provided in this book to make your life better. Self-love is the balance between accepting yourself as you are while knowing you deserve better, and then working towards it.

Vex has taken a very practical and realistic approach in this book and I love how easy this was to read.
