Got my sis a charging Pikachu wired PowerA one, and as well as a gorgeous case (like this Zelda one), the build was robust and it’s worked fine so far. ryu_san A shame these don't have motion controls, given Zelda TOTK Will use gyro aiming for arrows and whatnot. They could add rumble and wireless to it, and I have no doubt they would, if Nintendo would let them. My wired PowerA Mario controller was also my first controller that had a drifting issue and the controller itself felt too light in the hand. I travel for work, and rely on my Switch to get me through 1-2hr flights - and I never ever fear that the battery will collapse in that time.

I haven't written a review for mine yet (nor have I had mine very long), but I would give it 5 out of 5 stars so far.

By attaching the Joy-Con strap to your wrist when you play, you can hold the Joy-Con more easily and control games more comfortably. His favourite Nintendo character used to be a guitar-playing dog, but nowadays he prefers to hang out with Judd the cat.

Program two mappable Advanced Gaming Buttons on-the-fly, tilt your way through turns with motion controls, and enjoy up to 30 hours of gameplay on a single charge. The mint blue and green aesthetic looks so beautiful in the online images, but the ones I got from GameStop looked so faded and dingy.

It looks like something Nintendo themselves might have made if they had decided to make a bigger version of the Joy-Cons. Also, this is my first comment here, since I just bought a Switch Oled and Zelda TotK on an absolute whim for the love of games 😄 and I've since bought a controller and a dongle to turn ps5 controllers into Switch controllers to play this beautiful game in as many ways as possible. Add additional storage for storing more digital games on your Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite with compatible microSD cards. com/gaming-accessories/controllers/nintendo-switch/products/nintendo-switch-pro-controller---the-legend-of-zelda-tears-of-the-kingdom-edition/20004603. Sure, you miss out the amiibo functionality, gyro, Bluetooth and vibration, but for attached joycon style portable gaming, these are the one I use.Yeah, I actually stuck my original Joy cons back onto my switch for TotK because of the motion controls. While the original pro controller feels solid, this one is just plastic and you hear every button you press, not really enjoyable imho.

Depending on the game, players can use multiple sets of Joy-Con to play on one Nintendo Switch console with a larger group of people. I can understand the appeal of gyro aiming for TotK and why you'd prefer a controller that can offer that. I like my Pac-Man Split Pad Pro, although it feels like it's made of cheap plastic, and there's a small gap on the sides that pinch and chafe the palms of your hands. You can also use the battery packs as straps, allowing you to grip the controllers more comfortably. And i would like to get an OLED Switch too at some point even though the difference from regular to OLED is not huge.

Olmectron Yes, the split pad compact is not perfect for Zelda without motion controls, unfortunately I end up swapping them for normal joycons when I need that or use the Switch Pro Controller. Includes a 10ft (3m) USB-C charge cable, plus PowerA backs all products for 2-years to reinforce quality commitment. A wireless controller with the form factor of a traditional controller, comfortable and great for gaming for long periods of time in TV mode and tabletop mode. Currently using the butterfox case (made for the original HORI larger pads) and my switch is rattling around a bit.
