Description

Their bases, my friend! They are, at their core, entirely different entities. My Matt Clay has an oil base, which has a greater viscosity than a water base, and therefore has a different effect when taming and controlling the shape of your hair. The clay mixes three hardworking and natural ingredients; the titular clay, which is where our matt finish texture is found; beeswax, for a little shine and powerful hold; and oil, which holds the combined product together smoothly.

The texture, when wet, feels like wet paper pulp. Once dry, it feels exactly like a rough handmade or lightly processed, recycled paper pulp, I would not say it gives exactly a manufactured paper feel even once dry. It is an off white colour when dry, making for a nice ground. Now that you’ve achieved a good distribution of the label.m throughout your hair, start styling as you desire. Hopefully, you found that helpful. A rundown of what I thought of label.m Matt Paste as well as how to use it in an effective, no-fuss sort of way.Reduces crazing and is useful for pouring. Dries with good film flexibility but a slight haze on the surface. Can be used to make an acrylic adhere better to chalky surfaces. GAC 900

Label M is a reputable brand with people who know what they are doing, so you can be rest assured that it won’t damage your hair. While the brand does claim to create products to promote healthy hair, I don’t think the matte paste improves the health of your hair, it just maintains the hair’s current health. The Matte Paste’s ingredients help to coat and protect the hair from environmental damage, which I find handy when I use it as a pre-styler, because it gives me a barrier of protection from the heat styling.

Effects Pastes

A lot of the hold will be generated from the roots, so don’t make the common mistake of simply applying the paste to the tips. And there we have it. The who, what, why and how of Matt Clay versus Matt Paste, and I hope you can figure out the where for yourself! If you have been balancing on the fence, unsure of which way to go, I dearly hope we have cleared up the right route for you. If not… it’s just become more economical to try both. Label. M Matt Paste 120ml: The Perfect Styling Product for Long-Lasting Hold and Natural-Looking Results Start working the paste into your hair, distributing it in every direction, and coating the strands from root-to-tip.

You don’t need to use much of it with each use, however. So, although you don’t get much for your money in terms of volume, a tub (either 50ml or 120ml) does last pretty long. With that admittedly prophetic introduction, I am thrilled with the newest addition to my haircare range launched just this week! These 60g tins of Matt Clay and Matt Paste reveal new possibilities for experimentation and continual styling. To divulge a little, it had become apparent to me that 100g tins, whilst an excellent choice for those confident of their needs, presented slightly too much for a Nobleman unsure of which product would benefit him the most. I shan’t worry too much (yet) about those asking for a more travel appropriate size! Ten types of wet Golden Acrylic Mediums partially mixed with Golden Acrylic Paint Which Acrylic Medium Should I Use? American Crew Fiber can generally be expected to produce a slightly stronger hold than Label M Matt Paste. However, the two products have a similar creamy and waxy consistency and produce a similar low-shine finish. If you’re on a budget (good value rating 8.3/10) and just need a product to cover the essentials then the Matte Paste can be quite accommodating. It is available at an affordable price point and can deliver good results for the money.

Label M Matt Paste has a creamier and lighter consistency than the grittier Claymation. Although the two products produce a similar low-shine finish, you can expect a stronger hold with Claymation.

On the other hand, my Matt Paste is water-based, relying on integrated styling polymers to set your desired style in place. It is a lighter product, so can present a set of advantages depending on your hair type. Because the paste sets your hair, rather than holds it, you’ll find it a more formidable product for a strong, unfailing look. You should be left with no clumps and no residue – just a gentle shine on your palms. 3. Apply And Distribute Overall, the main thing that sets these products apart is the hold. If you’re looking for a stronger hold but still want the same low-shine finish of label.m matt paste, consider going for Claymation instead. 2. Label M Matt Paste Vs American Crew Fiber
