Description

The one I was sent had a switch that gave out after just a few weeks of heavy daily use (no mishandling). The switch chosen here is probably just the wrong one for the job. There's a little chairfoot-like cushion bit over the switch that comes off extremely easily and has to be reglued. If an item can not be repaired, a similar alternative product or cash discount (as defined in this policy) will be offered The only redeeming quality of this pedal, like the original, is that it sounds quite good. However it's not a clone of the original with some added features, it is a different pedal altogether (though it sounds quite similar).

For customers in outlying areas of the country, the price of the Extended Warranty may be marginally higher, due to the potential for higher collection and redelivery transport costs. The Ibanez Twin Peaks is a new Wah pedal unlike any other pedal before it! Most standard Wah pedals are built using a single peak point to achieve the effect, but the Twin Peaks doubles down on this sound by utilizing dual peak points at a higher and lower frequency.A cult-classic. The Ibanez WH10V3 Wah presents the third incarnation of the iconic '80s wah pedal, made famous by the legendary John Frusciante. Offering the same snappy funk tones that gave the Red Hot Chili Peppers' guitarist his mass status, the WH10V3 features an expansive frequency range that can be controlled via the depth control. So you can explore every corner of its sonic potential, or keep your sound tight and controlled. The power is with you. I have an Ibanez wah-wah pedal because it has a wider range than the others. I use a Fuzzface and a Boss distortion pedal, and an MXR phase shifter, and that’s about it. Guitar (UK), February 1991

Additionally, the mix of the two frequency peaks can be controlled via the balance knob on the side of the pedal, inspiring enriched levels of sonic experimentation with this exciting and entirely new pedal from Ibanez. Key Features

As far as the origin story, John was given this pedal by Ibanez, alongside two guitars, all of which he used for a brief time when he first joined the band in 1988. He ended up smashing the guitars and keeping the wah.
