Plug a flash drive into your Xbox 360 and navigate to Console Settings > Storage. Select the flash drive and allow it to format the flash drive as a system drive. The JR programmer has some switches/buttons - JP-RST, JP-BL, JP-3 - on it. What do they do? What position should they be in while reading/writing NAND? What position should they be in while programming the glitch chip? Copy updflash.bin to a FAT32 formatted USB storage device and plug it into your powered-off console.

Spoilers are nice but I want this to be a mostly full in-depth guide that isn't cluttered so I kept the spoilers as low as I could. I have the ones I have to keep clean, so expand the sections that only apply to you. The next thing that you will need is a glitch board, sometimes also called glitch chip or RGH chip. I know these pictures aren't the greatest but that is all there is on the net. Just remember that anywhere there is a solder pad that is on the edge of a QSB something most-likely needs to be soldered to it. The solder pads that are not on the edges are not used until later. Connect Ethernet and power on the console. The glitch chip should blink once or more times, and then the console should start into XeLL RELOADED. IF YOU HAVE A NAND-X but it didn't come with the NAND-X/J-R Programmer to coolrunner cable you need this: http://www.modchipcentral.com/store/product.php?productid=17776While doing an RGH 1.2 on a Jasper 16MB with a Coolrunner Rev C clone, I've encountered a RROD with error code 0022. Here's my timeline of events: I followed this guide. In this tutorial I am going to show you how to do a rgh1.2 install on phat console using a matrix glitcher, x360 ace, TX coolrunner, cr3 lite and a squirt chip. First of all let's start with what rgh1.2 is and what you will be needing.

Optional) An ethernet cable is plugged into the Xbox 360 and a LAN (e.g. a switch, router, or directly to a PC)Also if you have a Jasper you need to determine what its internal memory is. If you have no internal memory unit (as in when you go to memory there is no MU with no hard drive or external MU plugged in) then you have a normal Jasper. But if you have a MU that is close to 256MBs when empty then you have a Jasper BB 256MB, and if your MU is close to 512MBs when empty than you have a Jasper BB 512MB. Hey guys. Honestly I've been reading through threads here and elsewhere about how to mod my Trinity (as cheaply as possible - within reason). Open J-Runner and select ... next to the Load Source field and select one of your original NAND dumps if not already selected. In the upper right of J-Runner, ensure the Glitch2 radio button is selected. There are four ways to dump your NAND. The LPT method, the USB-SPI method (there are a few devices that are of this type but for this tutorial I be covering Team Xecuters NAND-X and J-R Programmer as they are the best out there), the NAND R/W kit for 4GB Coronas only, and the DemoN for those who are installing it. If you are doing a dual NAND setup and installing the DemoN it has its own way to read/write to the NAND so you will be using that, and if you have a Corona V2/V4 you HAVE to use the Corona R/W KIT (SD Card Method). So if you don't have a Corona V2/V4, and aren't using a DemoN, here is the comparison.

Keep your Xbox plugged into your computer and it's power, and keep J-Runner open but close Nandpro. Then move on to Part 2a if you are using the JTAG method or Part 2b if you are using the RGH method. If you get good light behavior, mostly Short but also Long sometimes, but the console still does not boot well, try to recreate this scenerio with other timing/pulse length. If using Corona with Xecuter Postfix V2, try moving wire to a bigger number pad. This will adjust for you the length of POST. Open J-Runner and select ... next to the Load Source field and select your nanddump1.bin or nanddump2.bin if not already selected. In the upper right corner of the window, select the dashboard version you chose for the patched dump that you wrote to the motherboard and make sure that the Glitch2 radio button is selected. If you have an internal hard drive you can now copy XEX menu to it by going to your USB drive/ the CD drive, pressing Y on the "CODE9999" folder and hitting copy. Then paste it in the "Content" folder on your hard drive. If you are just going to use an external USB you will have to keep it on the USB drive or make a 16GB partition on your external USB drive, format it as a MU, and move XEXmenu there.Play a variety of emulators such as: MAME, Atari LYNX, SNES, NES, N64, Dreamcast, Sega Genesis, Intellivsion, Colecovison, DosBox, PS1, ScummVM, Amiga, NeoGeo, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, and PCengine Turn on your console. It will boot into XeLL and begin flashing your NAND. Once it has finished, it will power off your console. Plug the flash drive into your PC. Create a new folder on the flash drive and name it 0000000000000000 (16 zeroes). Open the new folder, then drag the CODE9999 folder into it. Now extract the folder and copy the "Compatibility" folder to the HDDX:\ folder on your Xbox overwriting anything that is already there.
