IF YOU'RE planning for an upcoming trip, there’s a chance you’re wanting to invest in some new luggage. Being a blogger, it’s a sad fact that I now have to carry more and more technology with me when I travel these days – from laptops to cameras, hard drives to power banks, there’s a ton of valuable stuff I just can’t set sail without anymore. Having said that, I do love the design and think it looks cooler than some of the other bags I’ve reviewed.

I do think this is a great bag for business travelers who like to do some sightseeing while on a short business trip. I must admit, I do miss the external side pouch to carry a water bottle or umbrella. I always take re-usable water bottles with me, and an external side pouch is just the perfect place to keep them while traveling.

Aesthetics: 3 of 5 — When the bag first came out I thought it looked really sleek and clean. It still does, but I think the heathered look is becoming a little dated, and I prefer bags that are less water-droplet shaped. For a start, all my sacred technology and electrical items stayed safe and damage-free – even those temperamental hard drives during some crazy air turbulence!

Organization: 4 of 5 — This bag strikes a nice balance of having usable internal organization without overwhelming me. Is it a hassle? Yes, I admit it is. But being in pouring rain is already a hassle, so stopping to pull out a rain cover is well worth keeping the bag nice and dry (and it did, thankfully). Less Useful Features Cut-proof layer — fortunately, I’ve never had to test this. But it may be worth pointing out that the fabric itself is not cut proof, there is just a rigid poly-something plastic sheet between the external and internal fabric to keep a knife from cutting all the way through. Yes, more than one, as I have one for long-haul flights and big trips, and I have a smaller one for the many city trips we always do. Although I am a real suitcase traveler, it sometimes can be hard or less handy to travel with a suitcase.
