While change is fearful you have left us your son to carry on in your footsteps and I am sure he will be a formidable king.Formed in April 1974 as a result of Local Government re-organisation it was one of the ten original districts that formed the County of Greater Manchester. I wish my condolences to Queen Elizabeth II for being a loyal yet trusting leader throughout all of the years I knew about her. Throughout HM the Queen’s extraordinary reign, she showed great appreciation for her ancient and hereditary kingdom of Scotland.

You were an inspiration to us all -you’ll be greatly missed but we hope you’re resting in peace with Philip now .As a constant influence of harmony that has always been with us You shall be a great miss to us all. My thoughts and prayers are with the Royal family and as I think about the Queen I am so grateful to have lived during her reign.
