Description

It’s essentially a turbo charged moisturiser, and my skin felt softer and stronger after a few night’s use, although it’s likely a bit too rich for oily or breakout prone skins. On balance, the point is this: in contrast to real plant oils, wax esters were designed by Mother Nature to stay on the surface and form a protective, moisturizing barrier and jojoba oil being a wax ester is uniquely excellent at doing that. Skin often appears softer and brighter after exfoliation, but overdoing it can result in disrupted skin barrier. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

The results were actually better than the results I've had from a microderm, which was shocking to me. Glycerin, Aqua (Water), Glycolic acid, Polysorbate 60, Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) seed oil, Gluconolactone, Ammonium glycyrrhizate, Polyacrylate crosspolymer-6, Potassium hydroxide, Panthenol, Vaccinium myrtillus fruit/leaf extract, Xanthan gum, Bisabolol, Sodium PCA, Saccharum officinarum (Sugarcane) extract, Citrus limon fruit extract, T-butyl alcohol, Citrus aurantium dulcis (Orange) fruit extract, Magnesium PCA, Tetrasodium EDTA, Zinc PCA, Acer saccharum (Sugar maple) extract, Manganese PCA, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium sorbate, CI 19140 (Yellow 5), CI 14700 (Red 4). To help reduce dryness and give skin some much-needed hydration, w e recommend HydraLuminous Water Surge Gel as our best moisturiser for combination skin . My skin is also really sensitive and I have to be careful with Creams and foundation or I can have a reaction and go really red and my face will sting. Once inside the skin, it hydrates, but not from the outside - putting pure water on the skin (hello long baths!I have enough of the sample left to use again but then will definitely be purchasing especially whilst it’s on offer too. It lives up to the paste description in texture terms- it’s thick, and you need to leave it to sink in for five minutes before you massage it in. As you might guess from the “pro” part, it’s a precursor to vitamin B5 (whose fancy name is pantothenic acid).

A recent study shows that bisabolol indeed can have some anti-inflammatory effect on skin, even though conclusive data is lacking. It took a few times of using this product to actually notice that it made my pores on my face much smaller and my face glows after every use as well!It also has bisabolol, a skin-soothing ingredient, and ophiopogon japonicus, a plant extract known to help boost skin hydration and strengthen its protective layer. A well-known one is the antioxidant vitamin C, aka ascorbic acid, but the dosage will vary based on the extraction method, and it’s possible that some of the ascorbic acid content will degrade before extraction process even takes place. Their Resurfacing Skin Paste has the same effect as a chemical peel and the Rescue Skin Paste can reduce redness and blemishes.

I bought this 2 weeks ago as it was recommended by a friend, and cannot believe the difference in my skin. Tried explaining my problems to the lady at boots and she said this would be perfect for me and gave me a sizeable sample. This central part of your face, which includes your nose, forehead and chin, is where your skin’s oil-producing glands are most concentrated.

WARNINGS: Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun. With combination skin, it can be tempting to exfoliate regularly to combat any dryness on your face.
