Swift, befitting her country roots, is good at finding a central metaphor for a song that provides a framework for the emotions she’s trying to convey. Stokes goes on to share more poems with many more alleged connections to Swift: references to cats, making tea, having garden parties, direct relations to songs and referencing lovers as “sunshine. They’re heartfelt and plainspoken, like Swift’s lyrics, but they’re very vague, lacking the concrete detail that often distinguishes Swift’s music.

Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages. There’s another novel that just came out, so I’ll have to read that one so I can get a better judge of character. The most obvious clue, of course, is that "Lavender Haze" is also the title of the opening track on Taylor's new album "Midnights. When I read the pages that had, “No filter” it really pushed through the pages and left an impact on my mind, and with it actually making me feel heartfelt things everyone who reviewed it were talking about I wanted to finish it all in one go. The book's release came after, on October 6, Swift unveiled the tracklist for "Midnights" ahead of the album's October 21 release. Our queen mastermind, Taylor Swift, may have secretly written and published a poetry book behind our backs and published it under the pen name June Bates just days before releasing "Midnights. From intentional connections to Harry Styles’ music, references to previous albums, alleged baby names, or even ties to mysterious poet June Bates — can we handle any more rumors hidden in this album? I know it has links to Taylor and I love her, and can definitely see correlations between some phrases and her songs, even mentions of her cats. there were some beautiful pieces here and there, but overall i thought this book was repetitive and some parts felt kind of like millennial activism. What happens when people decide, for real or semi-jokingly, that you are actually Taylor Swift writing under a pseudonym?

On that tracklist was a song titled, you guessed it, "Lavender Haze" and this is where the theory originates. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. The comments on these TikToks mostly consist of sweet young people being very moved by these poems, writing things like “cant wait to find this person” and “i wanted this with him but he didnt want the same 😭😭😭😭.What I really liked and could relate to was when she was having trouble coming out to her family and being rejected not once but many times throughout her life. In Swift's song, she sings: "Pushed from the precipice / Climbed right back up the cliff / Long story short, I survived. Swift's new album has ties to poetry released by an elusive author named June Bates, prompting fans to think the two might be the same person.

I appreciate the author’s own narrative but the parts I felt more connected to were the more general statements. A quick read and there were like one or two lines that I was like oh right, okay, it's getting going now. There were so many poems that I totally related to and ones I know I will come back to in the future. I did feel such a connection and that's all I needed especially where I'm at mentally and emotionally- I felt she was right beside me cheering me on even if no one else was! The short answer is: No one knows who she is, and people are convinced she is Taylor Swift because Taylor Swift fans love a conspiracy. Is it possible that despite the lack of actual textual congruence between the two oeuvres, Taylor Swift is choosing to come out, a fraught and highly personal decision, by self-publishing a book of unpolished poems under a pen name? Recomiendo este libro totalmente, sin embargo, espero que al leerlo lo hagan con mucho amor, respeto, y disposición de ver mas allá, por qué si bien la autora hablaba de su “closet”, para otros puede significar otras cosas. This book teaches all the people who come across it and read it, to not be afraid of who you are or what you want to be.

I felt this book to my core and almost all of the poems were about things I went through or and going through.A lot of people are seriously speculating that she is the one who wrote the book, even though the book is accredited to “June Bates”. Not only does she state the obvious with the connection in titles, but she also delves into some of the deeper conspiracies about the style of the lyrics, connections to previous albums, and the timeline of the book release. Outside of people creating new trends with the album, there are also millions of new theories about Swift's music.
