Western Idaho State Fair
Aug. 16-25/BOISE – During the Fair, you can literally rock and roll at night, and party every day. The Western Idaho State Fair has literally been the social event of the summer to attend since it started in 1897. Featuring bona fide rock stars and country music legends, fair grandstand acts are free with fair admission. With the Boise foothills as a backdrop, the DISH Grandstand sets the stage for real star power. Jam out from a grassy dancefloor or open (but limited) stadium seating. Gates open at 6 p.m. Showtime is 7:30 p.m.
Aug. 20 – 3 Doors Down will perform. They are known for hits such as “When I’m Gone,” “Time of my Life,” and “In the Dark.”
Aug. 21 – The Nitty Gritty Dirtband will perform. The profoundly influential band has enjoyed multiplatinum and gold records, plus strings of top ten hits like “Fishin’ in the Dark” and “Mr. Bojangles.”
Aug. 22 – Dustin Lynch takes the stage with a string of country hits stretching back to 2012, hits include “Mind Reader,” “Seein’ Red,” and “Small Town Boy.”
