Sandy is an extremely beautiful, lovely, attractive, radiant and gorgeous Australian young lady with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a fair complexion. Throughout the majority of the film, Sandy wears very feminine clothes, such as a skirt-and-sweater set that are always in pastel colors, like yellow and pink, etc. At the National Dance-Off, she is wearing a white dress and matching white high heels (and, although seen very briefly, matching white panties). At the end of the movie, Sandy undergoes a complete makeover and transformation with the help of Frenchy to surprise Danny. She arrives wearing " female greaser" attire, which is a different look than she has been seen in previously. After her death, other style moments from Newton-John’s career are likely to be rediscovered. The headband and leotard worn for her 1981 hit song Physical will no doubt appeal to a generation raised on athleisure, while the spacey disco look of the 1980 film Xanadu already has a cult following. But, says Bailey, “I don’t think it will ever eclipse Grease. It’s the character of Sandy. That costume, that breakout moment, that reaction by Danny.” I thought that you’d just been super stressed out with everything — practicing and doing so much work. I just wanted to make you smile. You get so into it and you kind of just lose the purpose. And the purpose of all this and the reason why you started all this is so you can have fun,” Maryse explains to her husband in the above clip.

Two years later in the Summer of 1960, Sandy's cousin, Michael Carrington, arrives at Rydell High School as a British exchange student in his senior year. Cost: These were a gift from my husband so I’m unsure how much these particular ones cost. Fake Cigarettes Home-made Frenchy decides to cheer Sandy up by having her join her and the girls at a pajama party at her house, but Sandy fell ill from trying a cigarette and having a sip of imported dessert wine. To top it off, she got one of her ears pierced by Frenchy, saw the blood, and throws up. After the T-Birds arrived outside of Frenchy's house, they left with Rizzo, Sandy reflected on her feelings for Danny ( Hopelessly Devoted to You).
