I absolutely love Kate’s style of writing and imagination which made Escape from Atlantis so phenomenal! Overall, Survive: Escape from Atlantis is highly entertaining and features everything from direct conflict to light co-operation; also, who doesn’t love controlling a sea monster?

On your turn, you do decide which meeple to move across the island, or which boat to steer, assuming you have the most meeple on it, or even which of your swimming meeple to push one hex space towards safety - or away from danger. Men who’re in the water (not in a boat) can only move one space per turn but three moves still apply so you can use the other two to move something else.
