I think this is better appreciated by encountering it first as a child, especially as a city child who doesn't know of any large animal outside of the zoo. Plus, there’s a new Shawn Mendes track that will run during the credits — so be sure to stick through to the end! Alligators also have only their top teeth show when their mouths are closed, crocodiles have a combination of both.A cranky neighbor puts Lyle in the zoo but experiences a change of heart when the crocodile saves him from a fire.

As a small child, I was scared of reptiles, snakes, and sharks, and I would try to avoid touching pictures of them when I was reading, but I loved Lyle dearly. Robert Abele was less than positive with his review writing for The Wrap: "Did Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile look good in storyboards or sound fun in creative meetings? Seeing Lyle as an opportunity to become rich in the talent business, he places his three-story Victorian brownstone house as collateral for their performance, but Lyle experiences stage fright during the premiere and Hector loses the house.

They wanted to make sure he only expressed himself through music because that is such a unique thing.
