Immediately, due to the Buffer step (Part C) the hair is left at a suitable pH level for safe re-colouring. It is a temporary treatment effect that gradually leaves the hair over 3 to 6 months (depending on the keratin treatment used).

The After Treatment Buffer will leave your hair at a suitable pH to take a perm or straightening satisfactorily.
