About this deal

Surely, Red Line Water Wetter is successfully living its name by not compromising with the quality at any level. Undoubtedly this matter makes it the best coolant additive.

Distilled water is much more applicable with antifreeze than water wetter. It is not bad, but not very effective either. The reason why water wetter doesn’t work well with antifreeze is because of its glycol ingredients. Using straight water instead of combining water wetter and antifreeze is advisable. Deep galvanization in molten Zinc creates a barrier against the rust and helps the metal part from corrosion. Reduces or eliminates bubbles or vapor barrier that form on hot metal surfaces to reduce coolant temperatures by up to 20° Adding Red Line Water Wetter will NOT void the warranty. (You do not have to advertise the fact that you added it either...be smart.)

How can you control corrosion

Coolant additive keeps the thermostat and the water pump lubricated. Which also helps you to maintain the car properly. How can you control corrosion Redline is a water wetter compatible with all antifreeze, including the most improved and new long-life variations. Red Line WaterWetter is designed to provide improved metal wetting and excellent corrosion inhibition when added to plain water or a glycol coolant. now, if your car is overheating water wetter would help, as the thermostat is already open so water wetter can do its thing.

Water Wetter works by reducing the surface tension of the water/coolant mixture. Some basics -- water is the most efficient coolant you can use in your engine. Water alone will transfer more heat faster than anti-freeze will. The problem with water is that it boils at 212 deg. F. You can increase that temperature somewhat by adding pressure (the pressure cap on your system), but it still boils at a relatively low temperature. The other problem with water is that it is corrosive. Also, it freezes at 32 deg. F. Not good things for cars. From what I recall, the temperature drop is reduced by increasing concentration of anitfreeze. It's intended puropose is for cars running water only... if I remember correctly. I ran it with no ill effect in my 96 GS, but because I ran antifreeze in a 50/50 mix, the temp drop was predicted to be faily small. All this information is on bottle. Some customers couldn’t describe the difference between the Redline water wetter and rinse aid because both don’t work with their overheating problems. But the rinse aid didn’t cause any problems with the engine, as they believe. Water Wetter is a surfacant and can actually work as described in the manufacturers literature, but it works better in large bore systems. The kind of diameters we are using (motorcycles wise anyway) it doesn't reach anything like the claimed figures. You might find it more efficient in larger bore car systems, I really couldn't say.water wetter WONT WORK in normal cars, this is because your cooling system is thermostat controlled, so it doesnt matter how good of a cooling solution you have. your car WILL reach operating tempature or else the thermostat will never open.
