About this deal

CUSTOM EQ3 SOUND: Choose the sound that matches your personal preferences with JLab Signature, Balanced and Bass Boost modes — without an app. There is one substantial problem with this model that I wish J-Labs would fix, however: Probably in an effort to compensate for wireless audio transmission lag, these actually have a kind of reverse or negative lag, where the sound feeds on the headphone BEFORE it occurs in a video file. So, for example, if you're watching a movie you'll hear a character say a line about 1/5 of a second before you see their mouth move. It's a very pronounced effect and annoying/distracting enough that I mostly avoid using these headphones for video. This is my third pair of JL Studio Pros so I know this problem is a function of the model itself, not a malfunction with my particular set, and I also know it's something JL could solve for if they wanted to, because I've also had several pairs of JL AirSports and they do not have this problem. Foam tips have also increased my casual listening time. My pain threshold for wearing earbuds is usually around 2 to 3 hours before fatigue sets in. Using foam tips has upped it to 5 hours. Better noise isolation Here's a table of all the serial numbers of the headphones we tested for this article. Each of the genuine headphoneshave aserial number that passesverification. However, all of the fake headphones failverification. Note thatthere isn'ta way to verify the authenticity of the Apple EarPods' serial number. Serial Numbers

Or I'd say make something like the OneOdio A71 as reference ..but a Jlab version. They pretty much already have what it takes to make this model Hi-Res too, given the similar specs I'm seeing around on other brands marketed towards entree level audiophile grade over-ears. The driver tunings are pretty decently close to producing a high quality neutral. On the other hand with FPS games, you might want to pay a little more attention to spacial sounds like enemies close by, the stereo imaging having a mono like effect takes some getting used to. But once you figure out how the sound balances itself from one ear to the other you should be fine.MUSIC TO-GO: Built for everyone, the Form-Fit Earcups with smooth-sliding metal adjustments and feather-light build are ready to hit the road. Fold them up in the palm of your hand so you can bring them wherever life takes you, while traveling or lounging. Foam tips have superior cushioning that relieve the concha of soreness and absorb moisture much better to achieve optimal fit. Foam tips are an excellent alternative that reduces noise passively at a higher level than silicone tips. The material fills any gaps where ambient sound might sneak onto the soundscape. I’ve recently started using the Sony WF-1000XM4 (completely forgetting they come bundled with foam tips) and found the buds useful for diminishing external sounds with ANC turned off. Landscaping noises were silent from my balcony. Even indoor disruptions like loud TVs and my son’s cries were brought down a few notches.

CLOUD FOAM COMFORT: Form-Fit Earcups are ergonomically shaped to the natural outline of the ear. The 1” Cloud Foam cushions and adjustable hinges further customize your comfort for any travel, workout or commute. Pros and cons exist for each type of ear tip. Silicone tips are easier to clean and last longer, but easily slip out and create an uncomfortable suction sensation when plugged into your ears. The performance and wearable enhancements offered from foam tips make them the better true wireless add-on. Let me start by saying that for the price I do think these are great headphones for audio (as opposed to audio accompanying video; more on this at the end of the review). Studio Pros are durable, their battery life is fantastic, and most importantly they are super comfortable because each phone fits around your entire ear, and exerts no pressure on the ear itself, so they don't hurt after a long listening session (also with no synthetic fabric touching the ear, they're surprisingly a lot less sweaty than smaller headphones in warm weather). However, there are quite a fewverified dealers and retailers, so here are some of our recommendations for purchasing the real headphones usedin this comparison. If Jlab would ever get into it, it'd be nice to see a more premium analog Studio Pro (wired) (no Bluetooth) with 40mm stereo drivers, preferably with one side being detachable trrs aux and the other side having a port for 1/4 connection, maybe have the aux be in-line braided and the 1/4 be a braided coiled cable with straight to straight ends. Sibilance was pretty decent, some T's and S's were a little sharp from time to time but it wasn't ear grating or piercing more than my ears were not used to that much definition being pulled up, in an EQ you can pull these down a little to not be as sharp but out of the box it's not bad. Guitars cut through well and bass is subtle yet defined enough where you know where it's placed and hear clear notes. Imaging is pretty decent (not the best but pretty good coming from this price range). HOURS BLUETOOTH PLAYTIME: Tune out with a long 50+ hours of wireless playtime via Bluetooth 5. A simple set-up and you can GO all day without anything stopping you. They label it as "Studio Pro" and as most of us know, a majority of studio headphones have a detachable trrs aux connection on one ear and a 1/4 input connection on the other ear, along with 90° rotating hinges.
