If your FireAngel carbon monoxide alarm is new and the test button is not working, try removing the isolation pin. Once removed, wait for at least 1 minute for alarm to initiate. Get protected today If your CO alarm is beeping once, twice or three times regularly, you may need to replace your alarm batteries, or you could be experiencing exposure to low levels of CO. The guide below will help to identify the cause of beeping. With the alarm memory function, the red LED will flash to provide a visual indication of a previous CO alarm activation. Once your CO alarm is activated, this icon or ‘heartbeat’ will continue to flash a green LED in power mode. If a battery fault or warning has been silenced for a period of 8 hours and times out during night time, the silence period will automatically be extended once for a further 8 hours (night silence will increase the counter by 1 for sleep easy). Please note, this feature is not available with the FA3820 or FA3313 alarms. Understanding FA3322 digital display indicatorsWith a multi-functional LCD digital display and array of exclusive features such as Alarm Memory, Ventilate Instruction, Quiet Self Test and Environmental Sensing, the FA3322X4 offers the highest level of CO detection for your home. Near an appliance: they should be placed within 1 to 3 metres horizontally from the appliance and between the height of the appliance to 150mm below the ceiling – i.e., not above a stove where it would be in the path of steam or fumes. Do not install CO alarms within 3 metres of doors or windows, above radiators, or immediately close to anything that gives off steam or fumes like a cooker or shower room. Similarly, it is not recommended to install detectors in dusty areas such as workshops or garages. Under the extended Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm (England) Regulations 2015, from October 1st 2022, a carbon monoxide alarm will be required in all rooms where there is a fixed combustion appliance – such as gas boilers or gas fires – once the compliance date is announced. However, gas cookers are excluded from the updated regulation.

After 1 minute, press the test button to hear the alarm sound. Please note, the alarm will not sound before the 1 minute activation period is complete.
