About this deal

DE LUXE - Do této kategorie patří speciálně vybrané kusy, které na svůj věk a výšku mají velmi husté větvení a celkový luxusní vzhled, zpravidla díky pravidelnému stříhání nebo jiné speciální péči. Reminiscent of a spear, Triteleia laxa (Ithuriel’s Spear) is a late spring or early summer flowering corm featuring funnel-shaped flowers, up to 1-2 in. wide (2-5 cm), arranged in large, loose umbels rising on long, slender stalks atop narrow, erect basal leaves. The flower color varies from deep blue to pale purple-blue to almost white. Since they open up one at a time, the blooming period of this flower bulb lasts for quite a while before it goes dormant, requiring a summer dry rest. Easy to grow, undemanding, beautiful and adaptable, this plant is a great addition to the landscape.

In a frigid area, plant in the spring when the earth has warmed up. From March to May, in damp soil. Plant 5-7cm deep (three times the bulb’s height), pointed end up, and 6-10cm apart. Plant closer together for a more immediate effect. Flowers appear from late spring until early summer. Because it grows best in full sun and cold temperatures, and when the soil is arid, it may be readily established as a native species. To overwinter the bulbs in colder areas, lift after flowering and allow to dry off in a warm place for a few days, before trimming off any remaining foliage. Then store in in a cool, dark, but frost-free place before replanting the following spring. Water the soil gently once a week, saturating the top layer of soil until you see green sprouts. Once the corms have sprouted, begin weekly supplementary watering with a garden hose at a rate of 2.5 cm (1 inch) each week, keeping the soil wet to 1 inch. When the blossoms fade, stop watering. STROM - kmenová dřevina s korunou, kdy kmen má výšku 190-210 cm, není-li v popisu uvedeno jinak. Za obchodní velikost se u stromů považuje obvod kmene ve výšce 1m.

Planting and Growing Brodiaea

Bareroot perennials, trees and shrubs are kept in the nursery row until fully dormant. This promotes optimum transit conditions and provides your new plant with the best opportunity for success in your garden. Brodiaea’s’ Queen Fabiola”s magnificent blue flower heads emerge in succession for a long-lasting spectacle. With 35cm stems, they also make lovely vase specimens. The bulbs grow well in the dry and should be left alone. The necessary work is done. The bulbs should not be overwatered. They should be healthy and increasing by that point. Triplet lilies are perennial plants. They are commonly called ‘Pretty Face’ or ‘Wild Hyacinth.’ Blooms of triplet lily plants can be light blue, lavender, or white. Reaching 15 to 20 inches (38-51 cm.), planting triplet lilies among plants that flower earlier adds a splash of color around foliage that should remain in the landscape until it yellows. The blooms will last two to three weeks with the right planting and triplet lily care. One windflower tuber should be planted in each planting hole. Plant it with the damaged or depressed part facing up. Cover each tuber with one to two inches of dirt. Step 3: Planting

Triteleia Brodiaea 'Queen Fabiola' is as fabulous as its name suggests, with clusters of pretty, star-shaped flowers of deep purple-blue with blue anthers, rising amid narrow-leaved foliage. The bright-green, grasslike leaves appear in spring and die down as the flowers open, creating a spectacular display of agapanthus-like, airy blooms from May to July. After 2-5 years, Brodiaea elegans (Harvest brodiaea) will achieve a height of 0.5m and a spread of 0.1m. Which way up to do you plant Brodiaea bulbs? The flower grows on stalks that rise from grass-like clumps. These stalks have 20 to 25 small blooms in a 6 inch (15 cm.) umbel, making them appear dainty and attractive when growing in the garden. Popular Varieties of Triteleia

Gardeners who want to include Queen Fabiola in their landscape should do it in the early spring, when after the last winter frost has passed. Brodiaea is a herbaceous perennial family with roughly 17 species cultivated from bulbs or tubers. This family has been categorised and reclassified under various families throughout the years, including Dichelostemma and Triteleia, to the point that Brodiaea is now a common term for all three.

Triplet lily plants grow best in organic soil. Prepare the area before planting with shredded leaves, adding compost and any other well-composted, organic material. You can add a slow-release fertilizer now, if you like. Water in and cover with organic mulch after planting. Triteleia Care As long as rain falls frequently, Brodiaea ‘Queen Fabiola’ corms need no extra care or maintenance after planting. If the year is dry, add 1 to 2 inches of extra water every seven to ten days to assist the corms in establishing. Only water if the top inch of soil seems dry.Make 12.5 cm (5 inches) holes for the corms using a small trowel. Each hole should be spaced 7.5 to 12.5 cm (3 to 5 inches). Fill each hole with one Brodiaea ‘Queen Fabiola’ bulb, bud side up. Pat the earth lightly over the bulbs. The bulbs will decay if they get too much water before growing. If the soil’s top layer is wet, don’t add any additional water. A finger should be pressed into the soil before each watering of the brodiaea. If you cultivate brodiaea in pots, just bring them indoors and preserve them around 40 to 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Maintain the soil’s moisture level. Relocate the pots outside in the spring and keep watering. Corms may naturalise, splitting every 3 to 5 years into regions where brodiaea is hardy.

Place and timing are significant. You can not plant randomly; as we have mentioned, this plant is not the hardy kind. POLOKMEN, MINIKMEN - kmenová dřevina s nižším kmenem než má strom, výška kmene je uvedena v popisu velikosti. Easy to grow, they are ideal for low-maintenance gardening. The long-lasting blooms look pretty in a vase or as an ingredient in a casual bouquet. Plant in groups of at least 10 bulbs for a stunning display and in quantities enough for a good supply of cut flowers.STANDARD - Rostliny této kategorie jsou 1.jakosti s hustotou větví a celkovou šířkou přiměřenou věku a způsobu pěstování v kontejnerech.
