Avatar Seze ( IPA: seːzeː, English name: blue flower) was a mountain banshee ( Na'vi name: ikran) and the mount of Neytiri. She was killed by Lyle Wainfleet in an AMP suit during the final battle between the Na'vi and the RDA. Na'vi have only a single pair of eyes while almost all other medium-to-large bodied Pandoran animals have two pairs of eyes; one primary set and another slightly smaller set. Founded in 2018, VeVe was created by collectors, for collectors to bring premium licensed digital collectibles to the mass market. The wings have a claw or finger that is used to cling on to cliffs and to "walk" on flat ground, using the talons on both front and hind wings to clamber along similar to an Earth bat. All in all, they are not as agile on the ground as in the air. Unlike most other creatures in Pandora they have only four limbs, all of which are modified into wings (unlike their cousin the great leonopteryx) which might suggest a life mainly in flight, only landing to feed their young. It also suggests that prey will be smaller airborne creatures or possibly creatures perched high in the trees as they could not grab on to something while in flight, as seen in Earth eagles (and the Great Leonopteryx). The prolemuris can use its four arms to move through the trees faster than an average human can run. It has near-perfect balance, and its superb depth perception allows it to leap from branch to branch while selecting just the right handhold out of the forest mosaic. In this, it resembles the Na'vi who can also move through the rain forest canopy with tremendous agility.

The steering vane under the banshee’s lower jaw and the feather-like fan at the tip of the tail provide additional turning authority for high performance aerobatics. The banshee is highly maneuverable and can dive at speeds close to 140 knots.Along with the sturmbeest, the hexapede is one of the main animals responsible for the survival of the Na'vi, being hunted as a source of hides and meat. Its image is represented on the war banner of several clans, and the animal is often depicted on shields and in carvings. Its leather is used in a myriad of ways including clothing, shields and musical instruments such as the War Drum. By tradition, it is the first animal that a prospective warrior is allowed to kill when making the rite of passage from child to adult. There is a hexapede toy that familiarizes young Na'vi with the animal. The prolemuris has several peculiarities that seem to indicate that it is a sort of evolutionary "missing link" between the Na'vi and other Pandoran animals.

The prolemuris is an arboreal herbivore, but it is known to eat insects on occasion. Its predators include banshees ( forest and mountain banshees) and viperwolves. The name is a reference to mythical materials used in engineering which have better properties than real materials.

They dwell in the trees in large tribal groups, and although there are some violent intertribal contests to establish hierarchy, there is little battle between tribes. They are highly social, although they do not care for their young as avidly or carefully as Terran chimpanzees. Still, the prolemuris is a diligent and effective breeder, with the female coming into mating season three times a year. Their mating habits are similar to some species of Terran apes, including the now-extinct gorilla, Hamadryas baboon and the howler monkey (along with several human cultures as well). An alpha male prolemuris will mate with several females concurrently and assist with the child rearing for each offspring. But this polygynous arrangement is by no means an indication of male dominance.
