I don't mean to be pushy, pushy/I'm just in it for the pussy, pussy," snarls Dappy on the shameless 'Sex', which deserves a government warning in its own right. Parents won't be too impressed, mind you, but Uncle B will likely be lauded for its furious party jams made with the Skins generation of reckless teens in mind. Orange gave the album a mixed review: "Slickly produced hip-hop, grime and r'n'b form the backdrop to Tulisa's better-than-most vocals and the whimsical rhymeplay of Fazer and Dappy, who touch on everything from cheating ('Ouch'), "fake" MCs ('Defeat You') to fornication. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Wouldn't You" was released as the album's seventh and final single, on All Around The World Records.

Dappy, Tulisa and Faze are a trio of young rappers/vocalists from Camden who have been working hard to build up a solid UK fan base, putting on energetic live shows and diligently touring British secondary schools. I kid you not but this album is top of my playlist on the iPod and 4 months after purchasing it is still the one I listen to the most. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. Seven singles have been released from the album, with the first three being released by LRC, and the last four being released by All Around the World. Faster tracks are broken up with ballads like “Ouch” and “Secrets,” and though the rapping is occasionally awkward and the lyrics sometimes clichéd (The Streets they are not), this is a confident, mature and highly impressive debut. I love all of N-Dubz's music but I feel like this album was their strongest and stuck their true roots. Their work ethic has paid dividends, since the trio are now regarded by many as teen pop idols, and rightly so: their debut album, Uncle B , is an immediately likeable record that manages to blend big, hooky pop choruses with some serious ‘urban’ credentials - despite the group’s age and radio-friendly lyrics. You really do get the feelings from these guys how they have made it where they are today from the tracks, each one tells its own story. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. I would definitely recommend this album anybody who is planning on listening to any N-Dubz music, as it is personally one of their best albums to date. Uncle B is Camden-based N-Dubz’s debut album, dedicated to member Dappy’s father and the group’s manager and mentor, Byron Contostavlos, who passed away in 2007. This album has more of a hip hop, urban feel to it, compared to their newer music what is more along the lines of pop, and less rap. The first 3 singles from the album were released under LRC Records, with all subsequent singles and the album, being released on All Around The World Records.

The album is dedicated to former N-Dubz manager and father of Dappy, Byron Contostavlos, who died shortly before the band were signed to their second record label All Around the World. Defeat You" was originally intended to be released a single, however, the release was cancelled in favour of "Papa (Can You Hear Me)", however, a music video was subsequently recorded before the release was cancelled. Still, they're not as mean as the So Solid Crew of yesteryear, nor as good, and their faux bravado is just what you'd expect from these poster kids for urban Britannia. A music video for "Sex" was recorded in promotion of a new version of the track being used in an episode of Channel 4's Shameless.

NAA" appeared as the b-side to "Feva Las Vegas", and there was no music video was subsequently recorded in promotion for the single.
