Great looking watch with a relatively original design, even though it is clearly inspired by many classic chronographs. This HydroConquest (L36964136) features a fairly traditional design but with a subtle nod to the panda dial color palette. Considering the overall physical build of the watch, it pretty much goes through the key dive watch features. Longines HydroConquest is one of the most impressive dive watches in the market and it manages to compete on the aesthetic side of things fairly well, too. of water resistance on the Neo70s means you can likely go swimming with this watch, no problem, which also means showering, and especially washing your hands, will not even phase the thing. One of the best budget-friendly luxury panda dial watches that you can find today, the Orient Neo 70manages to pull off an impressive feat with its fantastic watch build and stunning design.

I think the Orient Neo70s Panda Chronograph WV0041tx is one of the best panda dial chronographs on a budget. The watch has a mineral crystal with a sapphire coating and anti-reflective treatment to help preserve the somewhat pronounced domed crystal. The domed crystal adds some distortion and visual interest when viewing the watch at an angle, and certainly adds to the vintage charm. One of the most notable aspects of this Omega chronograph timepiece is its use of a pulsometer bezel. This is a more vintage take to the Speedmaster watch model and features prominent Alpha-shaped hands and a sleek 39.7mm diameter steel case. The case itself delivers on the visual side of things with its alternating brushed and polished finish. The date window is relatively small, so you may be unbothered, or it might just drive you crazy if you’re a very detail-oriented enthusiast (and as watch enthusiasts, I’m sure we all are detail-oriented, to an extent). I also think having a smaller subdial at the bottom is an interesting choice, and personally, I like it, as I already own a few chronographs that have three perfectly symmetrical subdials, so this makes this watch that much more different and special to me. Personally, I like their logo and think it is done very tastefully. Of course, it reads Orient, and underneath ‘Chronograph’ in a script font that, again, I personally find to be very tasteful and compelling. Even so, I was very impressed. The deep brushed surfaces around the lugs contrast very nicely with the extremely well polished (for the price) bezel and hour markers that really give the watch enough pop and shine, without being overly blingy. The Timewalker was already quite a looker, and now it has that distinct duality charm that panda dial watches enjoy. This is another high-end luxury timepiece that focuses more on delivering a more robust appearance than the typical elegant aesthetics of a luxury watch.
