About this deal

As a result, I was able to keep shooting at ISO 200 well after dusk, when I’d have had to start boosting the sensitivity on most other cameras. not a big deal I can fix going manually but worth pointing out to those that sometimes want to relax and let the cam make the choice or for those that are getting into interchang. The tiny Olympus E PL8 with the same 17mm lens is even more compact/unobtrusive, with most of the same features, and has given me images I can sell at art shows. The good news is that we didn't find it to be prone to the image shake that can occur with the PEN E-P5. Then, something happens within the camera and I never see the flicker again when the camera is on, whether framing my shots or recording and viewing videos.

They are lightweight, portable and full of smart computational tricks to expand users’ shooting options.Olympus has stripped away a lot of features in the meantime, and produced a rather different camera. i’m thinking about starting new with an interchangeable lens system in addition to my beloved fuji x100s. Absolutely nothing, inside or out, has changed, including the 16 Megapixel sensor, 5-axis sensor-shift IS and 121-point contrast-detection autofocus. For some, the E-M10 will be much too small but as I said, the slick grip for this camera will add the size most need. The Olympus OM-D E-M10 was the third model in the OM-D series of compact, mirrorless, interchangeable-lens cameras.

Neither Canon or Nikon has a very rounded out lens selection for them which forces you to go to their FF selection. The E-M10 Mark IV also gains a flip-down screen for vlogging and the ability to connect wirelessly via Bluetooth. Just like its predecessor, it’s a lovely little camera that’s a joy to use and delivers great pictures. However, it’s been more than three years now since the E-M10 Mark IV was announced, and time moves fast in the world of cameras.

Thanks to a good array of external controls, including twin control dials under forefinger and thumb, the Mark IV handles unusually well for its class. A short list of cameras are added for ACR support including the Canon Powershot G1 X Mark II, Olympus OM-D E-M10 and the Panasonic GH4 (with preliminary support). There’s plenty of status information available, along with handy shooting aids such as a dual-axis electronic level and live histogram. This implements electronic first curtain below 1/320 sec shutter speed, thus reducing vibration, in theory, from the shutter.
