Now-April 25/DEARBORN – Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation’s GM Gallery will welcome the limited-engagement exhibition of Louis Comfort Tiffany. Hours open are 9:30 a.m.to 5:30 p.m. A celebration of beauty, this exhibit features more than 60 objects, spanning more than 30 years of Tiffany’s prolific career. One of America’s most renowned artists, Louis Comfort Tiffany worked in nearly all of the media available to artists and designers in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries—glass, ceramic, metalwork, jewelry, and painting.  >MORE

Lucky Leprechaun Day

March 13/LAKE ORION – This is a FREE St. Patrick’s Day event for kids! Leprechauns have scattered coins all around Canterbury Village and we need your help to pick them up! Start the hunt inside the Michigan Made Store for full instructions, then explore the grounds to find one of each of the six color coins. Bring them back to participating shops for a prize! Takes place 11-4 p.m. You will need a FREE ticket to participate. We also request you please bring a donation of 4 cans or non-perishable food items to benefit the local food bank. We will also have a vendor market running throughout the day, and stop back in the Michigan Made Store during the evening for a special performance by Motor City Irish Dance!

Spring How-To Classes

March 16/FRANKENMUTH – At Zehnder’s. Reservations are required for all classes and can be made by calling (989) 652-0450 or by booking online. 1-2:30 p.m. class will learn step-by-step from our professional cake decorator how to create an adorable chick cake. This delicious raspberry lemonade cake frosted with classic buttercream icing is sure to wow all of your Easter guests. Take home a full size 6-inch cake along with 2 decorating tips. Other classes feature bunny cookies, Strawberry and Cream Shortcake Biscuits and Lemon Coconut Macaroons,  Strawberry Coconut Bunny Trifle, and more. Some classes are “waiting list only.” Price for each class is $50-60.
