Serendipity Ghost Hunt
March 13/TOPEKA – 8 p.m. at 820 North Kansas Ave NOTO Arts District A fantastic evening of more ghost hunting of 4 proven haunted buildings Roadtrip Paranormal out of Wichita, Ks., will be the host investigative team for the evening and will include an informative and intriguing presentation from 8-9 by the ghost hunt. From. 11-11:30 will be a Q and A session with team members and a chance for guests to share experiences and evidence. The cost for the event is $20 per person. Tickets must be purchased in advance at www.ghosttoursofkansas.org. Bring your ghost hunting equipment. Ghost hunting equipment will also be provided. Mag lights have been very successful in communicating with spirits along with k-2’s and cameras. Please print off your purchase confirmation as we do not mail out tickets.
March 14/TOPEKA – A sing-a-long and performance by the band, “Boys on the Prairie.” A leprechaun leap for the kids. The Driscoll School of Irish Dance will perform at the entertainment stage. Another band, “Beyond the Heather” will present traditional Irish music at the Entertainment stage. March 14/TOPEKA – 7-10 a.m. at the Blind Tiger Brewery and Restaurant. Start your day early with a hearty breakfast while helping a local cause. Along with a buffet of breakfast delicacies and beverages, enjoy activities for wee lads and lasses, entertainment as well as enter to win raffle prizes. Friendly local celebrity servers from the Topeka community will be competing for the most tips to benefit children, teens, and adults with disabilities and their families served by Capper Foundation. Tickets are $15 for adults in advance and $20 at the door. Children (ages 3-11) are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. Children (ages 2 and under) will eat FREE. March 15/KANSAS CITY – It’s a weekly Friday night and Sunday morning freeform dance experience crafted to facilitate your own unique movement practice. The music starts out slow and ambient, gradually increasing in speed and intensity, and then slowing back down at the end ~ think of it as a sound “wave” if you will. This is a truly magical co-creation of connection and expansion through dance, music and community. Every Sunday from 10 a,m, – 1 p,m, Prie is $10 each
