Hidden Art Locked Away

Jan. 31-Feb. 1/LEAVENWORTH – 9-5 at the Riverfront Convention & Community Center. Artwork on display is produced by inmates of the US Penitentiary and the US Disciplinary Barracks at Ft Leavenworth. A preview of the art will be Friday from 4-8 p.m. and go on sale Saturday. Admission is free and the public is invited. For more information, call 913-682-4459.

Murder Mystery Dinner

Feb. 1/MARION – 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. at the Historic Elgin Hotel. A cast of suspects all have motives to end Paul’s platform to move AHBA in another direction.  To investigate, Bret Wild, a guest homebrewer and Federal Marshal from Texas, discovers clues and interrogates the other club officers.  Federal Marshal Bret Wild needs your help to name the likely suspect(s). In an evening of twists and turns, six cast members interact with the live studio audience as they serve up dinner, clues, and a just dessert.
