Art in the Park

June 26/GARDEN CITY – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. presented by Garden City Arts. Admission is free. Art in the park is an art festival that has been celebrated in Garden City for more than 50 years. and held on the 4th Saturday of June every year. along with fine art and craft vendors, art in the park features live music, food and free family arts & crafts projects.This event’s main focus is to enrich lives and encourage creativity through the arts. >MORE

Thunder Over the Heartland Airshow

June 26/TOPEKA – Don’t miss this high-flying spectacle! Thunder Over the Heartland is a new spectacular event for all ages to enjoy! Scheduled for the weekend of June 25-27, 2021, the airshow will take place over Topeka Regional Airport both Saturday and Sunday and will feature a special night show on Saturday, June 26, during the Kicker Country Stampede in the Heartland, an outdoor country music and camping festival held at Country Stampede Festival grounds. >MORE

Rodeo

Aug. 5-7/PHILLIPSBURG – Plan plenty of time to get out to the rodeo, get a bite to eat, and settle in your seats. Stay for the dance afterward on Friday and Saturday nights! Tickets are on sale now for $19, $15 for ages 3-12. The first night is family night, So all kids, ages 10 and under, are FREE with the purchase of an adult ticket. A free bbq will also be served that eveng at 6 p.m. Mutton Butin’ begins at 7:15 p.m. and the first rodeo performance begins at 8 p.m. Parade Saturday.  >MORE
