Old Settlers Days
July 16-17/ST. CHARLES – The 135th Old Settlers event celebrates family fun and community involvement. St. Charles is proud of its heritage and traditions. Many Old Settlers worked hard to build this little community! Lots of family entertainment all weekend long, from Cow Pie Bingo to a Kids Pet Show and kids pedal tractor pull, to entertainment on the Community Stage. July 23/OSKALOOSA – Enjoy a magnificent car display Friday with Graffiti Nights and Rollin’ Oldies. Starts at 5:30 p.m. Located at Community 1st Credit Union. Tropy pick and door prizes will be awarded each night. For more informaiton, call 641-660-0512.
July 24/STORY CITY – Scandinavian Days still rings true to its roots with traditional foods, folklore and a rich pride of the community and heritage. Craft show is 9-5. Hovick petting zoo is 11 – 3. The carousel area will be open throughout the day along with storytime and Scandinavian hospitality demonstrations.
