July 26/MARTINSVILLE –  This popular country music star will perform at the Morgan County Fair beginning at 7 p.m. The show will open with regional favorites Bigg Country and Split Rail. Travis Tritt has been a staple in country music since his first hit single, Country Club, released in 1989. With influences from gospel choirs, southern rock and folk in addition to country, Tritt’s sound is quintessentially American. His music has earned him multiple CMA and Grammy awards throughout his career. The 4-H Junior Leaders will have a concession stand at the grandstand for any last-minute munchies you might need. Aug. 8/INDIANAPOLIS – 7:30 p.m. at the Indiana State Fair. Free Stage (with fair admission). Continuing to bring the sunshine wherever they go, their expansive list of mega-hits includes, “Get Down Tonight”, “That’s the Way (I Like It)”, “Boogie Shoes”, and “(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty”. Aug. 8/SHIPSHEWANA – 8 p.m. at the Shipshewana Event Center. Brian fills theaters nationwide with fervent fans that span generations. Releasing two critically acclaimed hour Comedy Central specials and DVD’s in as many years – 2008’s “The Epitome of Hyperbole,” and 2007’s “Brian Regan Standing Up” – Brian has set a standard of excellence that others continually try to follow.
