Mountain Biking

With over 400 miles of maintained mountain biking and off road trails offering a wide range of terrains to choose from, off road enthusiast can spend months exploring some of the most diverse, beautiful and technical rides in the nation. On April8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. join in the organization’s “SORBA” Woodstock monthly social ride.  ALL ability levels welcome–including beginners. We will have different levels of rides, then we meet to eat and socialize after. This month begin at Creek Mountain Bike Trails, Reason Way, in Canton. Canoeing or Kayaking

CAMILLA – Start at the Flint River Outpost.  This 16 acre park has a breathtaking view of the Flint River with several campsites on the river with RV hookups. It is also a great area for fishing, bird watching, or a relaxing picnic. The Flint River Outpost is located in the Flint River Park and provides canoes and kayaks for rent & sale. The Outpost has several trips to offer, however, the most popular trip is from the Radium Springs landing to the Flint River Outpost which is approximately 8 miles. All trips are furnished with a shuttle service, life jackets, floatation cushion, and paddles. Two-day Trips are available and include a pioneer campsite along the river for the package price of $125. Professional fishing guides are also available, contact the Flint River Outpost for more information at 229-669-3162
