At only about 7.2 Watts of energy consumption, despite giving off the brightness of a 65 Watt bulb, you don’t have to worry about using up too much electricity. Grouping a few of these bulbs with a main light can transform even the most boring rooms. The occupancy sensors will only be added once a motion event is detected. Home Assistant can detect the sensors if they turn on at least one device when the room is occupied, and turn off at least one device when the room is not occupied. It's really the inability to create schedules for the sensors that's the biggest issue, that and being able to return to "previous mode". The latter would at least allow setting up a schedule for the room and have it return to prior state (be it off or nightlight) after the duration. Even if you have successfully paired the bulbs with your Wi-Fi, deciding to place them out of range would make your remote, as well as the bulb, not work at all.
