Many ST200 owners have by now added upgraded front brakes, which are a bonus when buying. Mk1 Mondeo V6 callipers, ST170 discs with Mk3 callipers, or Focus ST225 callipers with redrilled discs (from five- to four-stud) are all tried-and-tested solutions. Pearlescent/Mica = as above, only instead of metal, ceramic crystals (known as ‘mica’) are added to the paint. These not only reflect light but refract it too, giving one colour different appearances in different levels of light. They’re normally as expensive as or pricier than metallic paints.
