Mr Majeika and Class Three find themselves in a creepy hotel near Hadrian's Wall, where some very spooky things start to happen.This is particularly because of its ‘superhero’ feel like nature and magical element that children feel that they can relate to and would definitely recommend it.

Full of thrills, spills, mishaps and magical adventures, each tale features a clumsy former wizard who in his current role as a school music teacher is a continual source of entertainment for his class! The focus on this particular story centres on the main character of Mr Majeika, a teacher at St Barty's Primary School.First he turns the class troublemaker Hamish Bigmore into a frog, and then he gives Class Three magical flying powers! Mr Majeika gets angry a lot with Hamish Bigmore in his first year of being a teacher at St Barty's Primary School after being a wizard for many years.

As we grow, we learn that the magicians we see on television are only performing tricks, so the magic of watching them somehow fades. But Mr Majeika's magic saves the day, Class Three and the circus end up on the news and once again Mr Potter, the headmaster, misses it all!My 5-year-old loved listening to this, he's not old enough for Harry Potter, but this should lead nicely into The Worst Witch and eventually to Rowling's books. K. Mr Majeika is a wizard, sent to "Britland" from the planet Walpurgis because he failed his O-level sorcery exam for the seventeenth time. When Mr Majeika is hurt in an accident it becomes clear that Uncle Wilf is working for the wickedest of witches, Wilhelmina Warlock!

Children will delight in these little moments and the glimpses of magic this amiable teacher offers us.
